Thank you Marion. …
Thank you Marion. It was sweet of you to share your story with us. Your videos and techniques are a great temporary diversion from our woes. While the world unravels before us, we can pick up the pieces at home and help each other in any way we can. We can all take this as an opportunity to know the greatest value is in our family. God bless you and your family.

Congratulations to the lucky winners!
I love how your family pulled together for the holiday season. Members of our family have struggled as well in these tight economic times and we have done way less in the way of buying gifts and done more with acknowledging the true meaning of the season and supporting those we love in whatever way we can. Blessings to you and your family.

Oh I hope your dad …
Oh I hope your dad does too!!! It’s so frightening to have health issues these days as well. I had to go to England to get affordable surgery. It was done privately of course since I’m not a citizen there, but because of their national health care, the private sector has to remain affordable.
I’ve always been a garage saler sort…& clearance rack person. Scrapbooking stuff has become my indulgence!!!!
Have a happy new year!!!!

@kathydid47 I know, I think it’s a bit of a blessing in disguise although it’s a pretty bad disguise I must say. It has made many of us think twice about that gucci purse or prada shoes though. Actually I was never into the expnesive things, but we eat out less and save more for a rainy day now. I only hoep my Dad finds a job before his his Cobra insurance is gone. My has had three surgies in the last month!! Anywho thank you!

Great idea on the …
Great idea on the no gift thing…..doesn’t it seem silly that Christmas can become such a financial burden if we allow it to. I’m from Michigan and there are soooo many out of work, we’re hanging on by a thread. The good news I heard though was that if people didn’t have the cash, they just didn’t spend it this year. It’s making us learn to be wiser with our money for sure! Not a bad thing, tho I wish things we’re not so educational for us right now!!!
