  How about curlers in your hair, a bathrobe, and fuzzy slippers? Or pieces from several costumes – devil horns, cat tail, angel wings, hobo boots…

  A really easy costume is "Carrie" or dead prom queen. I have also been a saloon girl, the tooth fairy, Little Bo Peep, a harem girl ( I guess I really like girly stuff). Another kind of cute, easy idea is an artist. You could wear an over sized white shirt, a beret, and then pencil in a little mustache and carry a paint brush.

  I’m going as a christmas tree and my black dog is going as a skunk…I’m 42, though….I’m sure that’s too lame for a 16 yr old!! Have fun and be safe!!

  How ’bout a ‘funky’ witch? Find a cheap black tulle skirt/tutu (ebay has a ton) and wear over some striped neon tights (costume stores have them everywhere for under $5) Wear a plain black shirt and find a cheap witch hat…… You could get a neon green or orange wig to wear underneath (coordinate the color with the striped tights…) Cute, different, fun….
